Codan has donated a new Sunshine Coach to The Grove Education Centre in Woodville, South Australia, in partnership with Variety – the Children’s Charity of South Australia.
The Grove is a Reception to Year 12 school providing personalised and inclusive learning programs for children and young people with intellectual disabilities.
The new coach will give students greater access to the local community and support participation in off-site learning experiences and activities.
Principal Nikola Haskell said the new vehicle would help improve access, inclusion and equity for students.
“Having a new coach allows our children and young people to have increased access to their local community, and we are truly grateful for the generous donation from Codan and Variety – the Children’s Charity,” Haskell said.
The donation builds on Codan’s support for community initiatives across South Australia.
